Where is Arabian Sea located?
The Arabian Sea is a part of Indian Ocean. It is bounded by India on the East, by Arabian Peninsula on the Western side, by Pakistan on the North. On the Southern side, it is located nearby Kanyakumari and Somalia. The Indus and Narmada are the two largest rivers flowing in it. It flows near the coastline of various countries such as Somalia, Djibouti, Yemen, Oman, Iran, Pakistan, India and the Maldives.
The Aden, Muscat, Karachi, Surat, Mumbai Mangalore Kozhikode, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram are the largest cities located on it. It has two branches named as Gulf of Aden and the Gulf of Oman. Gulf of Aden connects it to the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman connects it to the Red Sea. Its maximum width is 2,400 kilometers (1,500 mi) and its Max depth is 4,652 m (15,262 feet).
